FINDING THE LIGHT –     How to take great food photographs

10am – 3pm

The Studio,  Buckthorns House, Upper Largo, Fife KY8 6EA

To celebrate International Food Photography and Film Week in association with Pink Lady® Food Photographer of the Year, this one day course is for those who own a DSLR  and want to create simple but stunning food photographs using natural light and plain English!!

Bring your camera as there will be a hands on session in the afternoon  with lots of tips and ideas to help you take better pictures.

10am              Arrive for coffee
10.30              Introduction
11 – 12            Basic camera stuff

  • Explanation of the buttons and diff modes
  • Simple rules of Exposure Understanding ISO, Aperture & Shutter speed
  • Food styling and making the best use of natural light
  • Tips and hints

12 – 1.                  Lunch
1. – 2.30pm        Back into the studio for practical work.
3.pm                    Look at photos on pc and general discussion

 

Price   £ 85           Includes coffee on arrival and a yummy lunch

Max 6 delegates on each day – places sold on a first come first served basis.
